Clinical Therapy

It would be misleading to comment on a therapeutic approach without an assessment. This can be done at an initial consultation. During this meeting we can decide the best approach for you and no doubt you have a few ideas, if not questions, which you may care to discuss.

The initial consultation lasts for a quarter of an hour and gives you a no obligation chance to meet me, discuss your concerns and decide if you would like to continue working with me. If you then want to continue, we will go straight into a full session (for which you will be charged a full session fee); if you decide that this is not for you, you will be free to leave at no cost. Please leave 1½ hours for the initial consultation.

As a complementary therapy it may be necessary to work in partnership and with the permission of your GP. If this is required, written permission will be sought prior to the commencement of treatment.

Therapy sessions last between 1 - 2 hours dependent on the requirement.
(Therapy hour = 50 minutes)

I have some limited spaces for a reduced fee service which can be discussed and agreed on at the initial consultation.

Child Therapy

The initial consultation lasts for a quarter of an hour and is for the parents/guardian to attend without the child. This session gives you a no obligation chance to meet me, discuss your concerns and decide if you would like to continue working with me. If you then want to continue, we will go straight into a full history taking session (for which you will be charged a full session fee) - please leave 1.5 hours for this appointment. Your child will then be booked into an introductory session at a time convenient for you.

If you decide that this is not for you, you will be free to leave at no cost.

5 to 12 years sessions last between 20 - 30 minutes.

13+ years sessions last between 40 - 60 minutes.
(Therapy hour = 50 minutes)

Payment accepted in cash or cheque only, at the end of each session.

Cancellation Policy

Please bear in mind that when you book an appointment with me, I set aside time specifically for you which could have been used to see another client. For this reason, fees are chargeable in full if you fail to attend or give less than 24 hour's notice of cancellation.
