What is Therapy?
There are many different reasons why a trained therapeutic professional would be the right person to approach.

Clinical therapy involves you and your therapist building up a safe and trusting relationship in which you can express your concerns. Each session provides you with an opportunity to work through issues that are preventing you from moving forward in your life or living your life the way you want. The therapist can help you recognize behaviors, and assist you in adapting your thoughts and actions in a comfortable way to manage your life differently.

I have been trained in a number of therapeutic approaches that work independently or combined to provide you with the best support for your needs. Below you will find a list of my main approaches.

  • Clinical Hypnotherapy
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
  • Person-centred Therapy
  • Colour Therapy

Concerns include (but are not limited to):

  • Addiction
  • Anger
  • Anorexia Nervosa
  • Anxiety
  • Assertiveness
  • Bereavement
  • Blushing
  • Bulimia
  • Confidence
  • IBS
  • Fears
  • Fertility
  • Headaches

As a complementary therapy it may be necessary to work in partnership and with the permission of your GP. If this is required, written permission will be sought prior to the commencement of treatment.

Children

I am not a trained child psychologist, however, with regularly working with children through a range of play, colour and communication therapies, I have helped children overcome a range of concerns including:
